I’ve been using Google Hangouts On Air a lot lately to engage with my audience. After just my first two two broadcasts (no active participants on the call) my email subscriptions doubled, I’ve received my first request to enroll in a $1500 course I’m developing (hasn’t been written yet, Shit!), and I’ve been contacted by the Director of Operations for a large Air Medical transport company about including all of his staff on my weekly calls. While this is all AWESOME, I didn’t expect this sort of response which I’m not yet ready to accommodate. And another little hack I recently learned… If you must run you’re Hangout from the iOS app, you can use ScreenFlow (I suspect Camtasia would do the same) to record your iPhone or iPad screen and then publish that recording to YouTube since Hangouts through the iOS app dosen’t appear to record, as far as I can tell.
Google Hangouts! Great for meeting with a small group of high-level coaching students, and so much easier to use than Skype.
